Hanford Hybrid Energy Center, located in Hanford, California, is a 97 MW simple-cycle gas turbine (CT) facility with a 131.4 MW/131.4 MWh BESS. The facility has a long-term PPA with Silicon Valley Community Energy. It features GE’s LM6000 technology, offering high operational flexibility and updated compressor blades for efficiency. The BESS is expected to begin operations in January 2025.
