Border Hybrid Energy Center, located in San Diego, California, is a 49.5 MW simple-cycle gas turbine (CT) facility with a 52 MW/52 MWh BESS. The center is strategically positioned and operates under a contract with San Diego Community Power. The BESS is on track to be operational by July 2025.
